Tuesday Teaser December 15, 2009

Hi All. This is my first tuesday teaser and it's the first chapter of my most complete WIP, called Nikki's Wish. I'm working on my second draft of this and getting a bit stuck. Any feedback is appreciated!

Sorry, this teaser has been removed.

Ooh, I like this! It's very intense with the suicide aspect and then the interspersing of humor with the Yosemite Sam.

I'll be interested to see where this is going!

I'm also very interested to see where this is going! I like that the boy about to jump just doesn't turn out like you would expect him to be.

"The only thing saving him from doing a humpty dumpty impression? Me." Hahaha. I love the voice and the strange predicament of talking someone off a ledge in the first chapter. Great!

How did you manage to make a suicide attempt kind of humorous AND make me like the character attempting to kill himself? Talent, I guess ;)

Ack! I hope he doesn't fall/jump! I agree about the humorous part. :)

Ohhh, I hope he doesn't fall! I like him already :)

Ooh great hook!

I hope Sam doesn't jump. I like him (do I spot love interest potential? lol)

But the voice is great and I really want to know what's going to happen next.

Great snip!

And welcome to Teaser Tuesday and I love your blog layout. It's very pretty : )

A big, HUGE thanks to all who left comments. You really brightened my day and maybe I'll even be inspired to work on my second draft tonight. I hope that I managed to read all of your teasers, but if I didn't, my sincerest apologies. Cheers!

I love this! (Sorry for late reply) I like how the suicide is mixed with humor too. It's really interesting that way and I like that boy!
